課程概述

多元社會如何成為一個和諧且包容差異的正義社會？自由主義式的政治哲學理論大多把正義的社會描繪為要求透過論理來溝通政治歧見，因而具規範正當性的社會。然而，論理的預設導致排除問題：那些不擅長以良好論證發表意見的公民被排除在公共討論之外，而這些公民通常屬於弱勢群體。
本課程將從Iris Marion Young的著作中分析理想溝通模式以及群體代表制的政治理想，嘗試從這兩個層面探討多元的正義社會之可能。 

課程目標
 1.瞭解Young的差異政治和溝通民主理論，以及其他學者的相關論點。
2.提升批判思考與論證建構能力。
3.將課程所學結合到自身的研究。 
課程要求
 1.上課時間為週三上午11:10-12:00，地點為哲學系館五樓510研究室。
2.課前閱讀：詳閱每週的指定閱讀文本，充分掌握相關論點之問題意識與理論主張，並撰寫論點摘要與提問。
3.課堂討論：針對文本內容、論證主張、疑惑不解之處或延伸問題進行討論。
4.期末報告：針對本課程之教學內容構思學士論文主題，撰寫研究計畫。

 應於課前仔細閱讀該週指定閱讀教材之內容，並撰寫論點摘要和提問，於每週二晚上22:00前在NTU COOL課程網頁「討論區」以發佈貼文方式繳交。內容包括論文要旨、主要論證、疑惑不解之處、對論證的評估與批判、值得進一步探討的延伸問題。

 針對課程內容撰寫學士論文的研究計畫，篇幅約5000字。須於第16週就初步構想做口頭報告和討論，並在1/3（週三）22:00前將報告上傳至課程網頁作業區。
